This is a compilation of information on these design elements to be informative to the ACC specialists approving applications for these elements. This works in concert with the other materials and the Residential Improvement Guidelines.
ANY EXTERIOR CHANGE IS SUBJECT TO ACC APPROVAL, regardless of the below.
Gutters
Gutters and down spouts are to be painted the trim color. The ACC has approved gutters with a gutter guard.
Play Equipment
While we don’t deny play structures, swing sets, trampolines etc. we do need to carefully review applications for size, color and placement. Owners should provide accurate drawings and measurements and photos when possible before applications are approved. These structures should be placed to have the least disruption to the neighbors.
Solar Panels
Solar panels are allowed per Colorado law. We can ask that they be placed in as inconspicuous a place as possible.
Radon
Radon pipes must be painted the body color of the house or a color close to the brick color if it is installed on brick. This needs to be noted on any application for Radon Mitigation System installation.
